The Michigan Office of Rural Prosperity (ORP) and Yates Township invite you to attend an Idlewild Community Roundtable on Friday, August 15, from 1-4 p.m. at the Mid Michigan Idlewilders Event Center, located at 19 Joy Avenue, Idlewild, MI, 49642.

The event will include an overview of ORP programs and discussion of rural trends, community development needs, and success stories; as well as a roundtable discussion on past and current Idlewild redevelopment projects, highlighting the Flamingo Club as a case study. Participants will have the opportunity to share projects they are currently engaged in, explore opportunities for collaboration, and discuss next steps needed for shared community goals. There will be an opportunity for continued networking following the meeting. Light refreshments will be provided.

As a rural community partner that provides funding and direct community support through the Rural Readiness Network and the Rural Readiness Grant program, the ORP works across Michigan to understand rural needs at the local level and identify opportunities for collaboration, partnership, and other solutions. We’re excited about the opportunity to connect with the Idlewild community to learn more about your work, discuss solutions and
ideas, and build stronger partnerships.
