Yates Township Fire Department
The original Yates Township Fire Department building, located on Lake Dr. in Idlewild was established in 1949. The new addition was completed in 1965.
In 2007, MIOSHA closed the building due to safety standards. Yates Township then gave the building located at 2155 E US-10 to the Department. Plans were immediately drawn up for new truck bays.
By 2008, the Yates Township Firefighters began moving into the new location on US-10.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Administration office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except for Holidays.
If the office is closed and you would like to leave a message for a Deputy you can access their voice mail extensions by calling the Sheriff’s Administration office & an automated attendant will respond to your call and give directions.
